Are you on a constant ‘diet’?

Looking for the next way to lose a few pounds, or exercising like mad until you burn out? It’s just not fun, practical or going to last.

It’s important to understand it’s not going to happen overnight! Remember one salad won’t make you ‘thin’ and one takeaway won’t make you ‘fat’. At the end of the day at FUSE Fitness we believe balance is the key, and making fitness and nutrition a forever lifestyle.

Stop ridiculous meal replacements/tablets/shakes!

Honestly eating the right food does the job, and what about ‘detoxing’, don’t your liver and other organs do that job? Don’t buy into fads, it’s just industry praying on desperate people looking for results! Trust us, just look at your food and how much your having and the quality of food, then exercise to make you strong, fit and mentally happy.

First things first you will need to understand that any plan you go on it’s all about reducing your calories and it doesn’t matter what brand you choose its all the same – calorie deficit! You will most likely lose weight because you’re being mindful of what you’re consuming, and however it’s packaged it’s basically just reducing your calories.

So what if you could manage this on your own?

ENERGY IN – ENERGY OUT
How do you want to fuel your body? The average daily calorie allowance for example set by the government for women is 2,000 calories a day (this will vary from person to person), so let’s say you have 2000 calories to spend, how are you going to spend it? You can chose to fuel your body with nutritious foods, even add in the odd chocolate bar as long as its within your limit (hey it’s life, they taste good don’t restrict yourself, remember this is for life!).

If you’re not losing weight then go back to the drawing board, energy in vs energy out. Avoid falling into the next fad diet trap, because you’re not seeing results. You are most likely still consuming too many calories and not moving enough. You do the math, be responsible for your daily intake, make small changes, and week by week notice the improvement. Eat and train for the body you want, not the body you have!

Top tip: Plan out your food for the day, that way you won’t go rogue. Fail to plan, plan to fail!

Focus on your goals and go smash them!
